$12 million to support children, families and communities.
Angus supported a national NFP focussing on early education services and parental support to secure $12M in funding from the 2022 federal election, among other funding and policy wins.
This was achieved through the application of a proven process for developing structural and systemic government engagement, that focuses on developing bi-partisan relationships and is built on strategy, data and capability building.
Having spent years as a ministerial advisor working across the social sector portfolios of education, communities, disability services, seniors and an economic super portfolio, Angus deploys his deep knowledge of the political and for purpose sectors to empower organisations to amplify their voice and impact.
Angus assists organisations and leaders to secure better funding, policy or legislative outcomes, by providing personalised government engagement, advocacy and stakeholder management services - delivered via calibration sessions that demystify political processes and share knowledge of the workings and functions of government. Organisations come away with embedded systems, knowledge, skills and networks that they own going forward and can leverage for better social outcomes.
A Co-founder and Executive Director of Tanck, Angus has an innate ability to connect with people, comprehensively understand their mission and work alongside them with empathy and positivity to accomplish goals and objectives.

$21 million secured for road safety programs.
A road safety organisation was seeking funding and policy change to support the development and delivery of safety pilot programs. Tanck worked with the organisation to identify their political champions and to build engagement capacity and capability. By becoming their own best advocates, the organisation was able to secure over $21 million in funding from state and federal governments, to deliver multiple successful safety pilot programs across Victoria.
Parliamentary inquiries and $2 million funding to support children and young people.
A national organisation was experiencing difficulty in securing funding for an important role and were seeking to build their capacity to advocate and engage with governments across Australia. By building whole organisation involvement in government engagement and investing in the development of political knowledge and skills, the organisation was able to secure over $2 million in additional funding for vital roles and programs, achieve better certainty around funding timelines and facilitate the establishment of parliamentary inquiries in two states to examine issues within their portfolio area.
