Building better connection, the heart of resilience

If the pandemic has taught us anything, it’s the importance of connection.

Our species survives and thrives through connectivity and interdependence.

Connection is the core of wellbeing.

There is even evidence that social isolation is more detrimental to our long term health than obesity, alcohol or smoking.

This video is about building connections.

When everything else that we thought was important is stripped away, we still have the opportunity to make deeper, more regular and more thoughtful connections to build and sustain more nurturing and fulfilling relationships.

ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF COUNTRY

We acknowledge the traditional custodians of the land and waters and their knowledge of the places where we gather to collaborate and strengthen communities. In our work, we recognise the importance of Country, not just as a place, but how it also maintains community, family, kin, lore and language.

We pay our respects to Elders past and present.

This always was, always will be, Aboriginal land.

We support the Uluru Statement from the Heart.
