This organisation focuses on early education and care, with community and parental support as an additional focus. This, and other funding and policy wins, was achieved through the application of Tanck’s methodology and process for structural and systemic government engagement. By creating and implementing a strategy that focuses on building relationships across all five government stakeholder groups, Tanck helped our client grow their influence and secure substantial outcomes. In addition to the $12M of funding, Tanck has recently helped this client secure: • Funding from a federal agency of $2.1-$2.9M for delivery of expanded program in western NSW, to deliver a pilot program with potential for national expansion."
National federated organisation secures substantial election commitment

"Tanck has worked with a national youth support organisation to help build their capacity to advocate and engage with governments in each state and territory across Australia. In NSW, our client was experiencing difficulty securing funding for a vital full-time position for a psychologist. The funding agreement was rolled on a 12-month basis for several years, with no growth to funding and minimal certainty. Our work together helped our client secure from the NSW Government more than $1M over three years to double the number of psychologists to two. This funding boost and certainty with a longer-term contract was a major boost for our client, providing them with a significant financial boost and also confidence to invest other funds into their program at that location. Through our work, our client has also secured: • Federal funding grant of $1.4M for as part of community-based youth mentor programs; • NSW Parliamentary Inquiry to examine the systemic issues within their portfolio area; • Subsequent VIC Parliamentary Inquiry to examine similar issues in NSW; and • Initiation of new relationships within the SA, NT, and WA governments which did not exist prior to our engagement."
