Benefolk's 2025 Impact: a year of growth and connection
2025 was a landmark year for Benefolk. We kicked off with a strong foundation, welcoming Katherine Ellis to our Board and re-certifying as a social enterprise and BCorp. Our two flagship summits made waves: 287 NFPs supercharged their revenue efforts at the Benefolk Income Summit, while 308 people prioritised wellbeing at the Benefolk Workplace Wellbeing Summit.
We hit the national stage, facilitating conversations at major events including the Social Impact Summit, Social Traders Convene, and regional gatherings. Our Hot Topic Lunches brought together 455 changemakers to discuss impact and innovation, while our Expert Bar delivered 279 sessions supporting 392 clients. Through our Benefolk Concierge service, we triaged 227 enquiries, and 15,000 people accessed resources on The Community Well.
From the Larrakia Cultural Centre in the NT to CERES Environmental Park in Melbourne, from remote entrepreneurs to major service providers like Guide Dogs SA/NT, we supported diverse organisations to grow and thrive through strategy, governance, fundraising, technology, and leadership development.
All of this was made possible by our network of 100+ social sector specialists and our valued partners. As Charities Minister Hon. Dr. Andrew Leigh put it: "You are effectively a sector SWAT team that comes in to look after charities and not-for-profits at their time of need."
