Benefolk recognised at the 2025 Not-for-Profit Technology Awards
Finalist for the 2025 Not-for-Profit Technology Innovator of the Year. We’re incredibly proud to have been named a finalist for the 2025 Not-for-Profit Technology Innovator of the Year, recognising our ongoing commitment to building practical, free tools that strengthen the for-purpose sector.
The nomination celebrates our work developing three online resource hubs that are helping not-for-profits, charities and social enterprises thrive:
- The Social Sector Video Library – a growing collection of expert-led learning videos;
- The Community Well – a wellbeing and workplace culture hub for social sector professionals; and
- Benefolk Expert Bar – a first-of-its-kind service connecting leaders with trusted specialists for one-on-one advice.
This recognition is a testament to the passion and collaboration of our team - Jacqui Blanch, Annette Herschtal, and Julia Keady — and to our incredible network of Benefolk specialists and not-for-profit beta-testers who helped bring these platforms to life.
A special mention to Annette, who proudly represented Benefolk at the awards night in Melbourne, following Day 1 of the Technology for Social Justice Conference.
We’re deeply grateful to our partners and funders: NSW Department of Communities and Justice, Lord Mayor's Charitable Foundation, The Ian Potter Foundation, The Ross Trust, The William Angliss Charitable Fund, and Beyond Bank Australia, for their ongoing belief in our work and the broader social sector.
A huge congratulations to The Wilderness Society and all the other winners and finalists whose innovation and impact continue to push our sector forward in powerful ways.
